A lot of firsts at this conference -- Maricor's first conference since 2019 and Kia's first SETAC EU!
The32nd SETAC Europe Annual Meeting was held in Copenhagen from May 15 - May 19, 2022. Maricor presented her work on toxicokinetics-toxicodynamics modeling of pesticides in aquatic invertebrates, whereas Kia shared her MSc thesis findings. The conference also served as a platform for Kia and Maricor to discuss with their collaborators from Europe (Dr. Beate Escher, UFZ), reconnect with colleagues, and meet new friends!
Copenhagen is a beautiful city and we had a blast learning more about Denmark! We checked out museums, tried local street food, and enjoyed the architecture within the city centre as well!
