Arlos Lab Went on a Winter Writing Retreat

The Arlos Lab went to Jasper and spent the Reading Week writing manuscripts. Maricor introduced the Pomodoro Technique for productive writing, a method she learned back when we was a PhD at the University of Waterloo. The days were structured such that there is always a room for fun activities!

Kia planned a painting night, Daniela taught everyone how to make a friendship bracelet, while Maricor ensures that everyone is well-fed (I love cooking!) and had an opportunity to go out and get fresh air (a.k.a the driver!).

The Arlos Lab is looking into doing this again during the Fall semester reading week. Stay tuned!
